Kartar Singh Khalsa, D.O.M.
Co-Creator of The Cleanse of Santa Fe, Dr. Kartar Khalsa combines the expertise of a licensed Doctor of Oriental Medicine, a trained Acupuncturist, and a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher. With private practices in both Espanola and Santa Fe, New Mexico, Dr. Kartar uses his expertise in Chinese medicine and Herbology to create cleansing products and detoxification programs for people all over the world.
Along with having been appointed to The New Mexico Board of Acupuncture and Oriental medicine by Governor Bill Richardson, Dr. Khalsa is active on the board of several local and national non-profit organizations.
Since 1994 Dr. Khalsa has guided literally 1,000’s of people through The Cleanse of Santa Fe. Since 1996, Dr. Khalsa has worked in the 4th poorest county in the continental United States. This county also has the highest per capita drug overdoes in the country. Dr. Kartar has honed his ability as an addiction counselor, healer, teacher, acupuncturist and health practitioner in this environment. With a passion towards healing, teaching and educating others to empower themselves through healthy choices and changing their lives through creating new and powerful habits to support change. Some of the many tools Dr. Kartar uses are supplemental and nutritional guidance and counseling, Dr. Kartar is currently working on his first book on “Changing Your Habits and Releasing Addictions”, to be released in the fall of this year.
