Cleanse Shopping List

We are excited to provide you with a list of what you will need the first week of your cleanse.

Equipment:

  • Juicer (Champion is recommended, although any kind may be used)
  • Blender
  • Coarse strainer & wooden spoon (optional)
  • Optional enema bag (purchase at most pharmacies, the big red one is recommended)

Supplies:

  • Small bottle of umeboshi plum vinegar used as a salt condiment
  • 10 lemons for the first 4-5 days
  • 2 grapefruits for Day 3,4,5
  • 6 small oranges
  • 2 bunches fresh parsley
  • Cayenne pepper – approx. 1 ounce
  • Fresh ginger approx. 1 lb.
  • Extra virgin cold pressed olive oil 1 quart
  • Garlic – 3 bulbs
  • Grains – millet & quinoa – 1 lb each
  • Nuts (raw & unsalted) – almonds and/or walnuts
  • Honey – raw unfiltered 1 pint
  • Maple syrup 1 pint
  • Cloves (whole) _ cup (buy in bulk from health food store)
  • Soybeans 1 lb. (optional)
  • Sea salt for enemas (optional)
  • Flax oil 8 oz. (optional)

These are supplies that you need to have. They are part of some mixture or preparation that are essential to your cleanse. You will also need other food such as vegetables and fruits for making your meals and fresh juices. Some examples to choose from for the first 5 days are raisins, figs, melon, kiwi, apples, grapes, pears, peaches, plums, onions, lettuce, green onions (scallions), asparagus, beets, turnip, mushrooms (Portobello, enoki or tree oyster), broccoli, zucchini, kale, chard, squash, brussels sprouts. Once you receive your cleanse, the manual will provide you with a detailed list of all fruits and vegetables that you can eat.

Juices:

You will be making one quart of fresh juice daily for yourself.
We recommend buying a 25 lb. bag of organic carrots.

Some recommended juice combinations are:

  • Carrot apple ginger
  • Cucumber celery
  • Beet carrot celery
  • Watermelon lemon ginger
  • Apple (or Pear) lemon ginger
  • Cucumber apple (or Pear)
  • Pineapple cucumber
